Our Award-Winning Client is seeking a talented Sous Chef for their 2AA Rosette Country Pub Restaurant in Rutland. The kitchen has been fully refurbished with new equipment to give their chefs all the tools they need to maintain the quality of dishes which the restaurant is renowned for.

Listed in the Michelin Guide this Country Pub Restaurant is continuously awarded for quality and excellence. Working closely with the Head Chef you will help lead a team of 6 Chefs to ensure the high quality of food and service standards are maintained.

The Restaurant is closed every Monday & Tuesday and open for breakfast, lunch and dinner thereafter (excluding Sunday evenings), you will work a 4 day week working a 12 hour shift when on apart from Sundays.

The Role:
We are looking dedicated professionals who have a friendly approach, a can-do attitude and a passion for excellence. As Sous Chef you will assist in leading the guest experience and be able to work well under pressure supporting the Head Chef in all dynamics of the kitchen.

Your Experience:

  • 4+ yrs in a fresh food fine dining kitchen operation
  • Minimum 2AA Rosette experience
  • Produced creative and inspiring dishes
  • Pay close attention to detail and commit to providing outstanding levels of guest service
  • Able to effectively communicate in the English Language, understand and carry out instructions
  • Strong knowledge of HCCAP and stock ordering and cost controls
  • Food Hygiene Level 2
